About àVélo

àVélo offers 2,300 self-service electrically-assisted bikes at 225 stations strategically located throughout Quebec City. It's a complementary service to the public transit network, designed to be accessible to as many users as possible. It's a simple, easy-to-use active mobility service that lets residents and visitors alike rent a bike for short, utilitarian trips.

The regular season for the àVélo service will run from May 1 to October 31. This year, the season will start earlier, on April 15, and as last year, an extension is planned from November 1 to 15. The network will consist of 60 stations during both of these periods.

As a complement to walking, to be the choice for active commuting wherever àVélo is deployed.

Capitale Mobilité is a limited partnership company mandated by the Réseau de transport de la Capitale (RTC) to develop and operate various strategic business lines that contribute to the advancement of sustainable mobility:

Operation of the àVélo bike-sharing service
Business development, including commercial partnerships and management of advertising contracts
Enhancement of RTC’s real estate and digital assets
